We are a full service design studio that believes interior design can leave clients unsatisfied with the final results…they end up with a decorated home, but without any hint of their personality. Our approach, by primarily working with what people already have, showcases a clients’ accessories and furniture, making their house a haven that is uniquely theirs.
Like all women, Carole Marcotte wears many hats: wife, mother, actress, serial renovator, and community activist. After many requests for home “interventions” from friends and family, she developed Form & Function as a way to help folks realize their goal of a happily-functioning and beautiful dwelling, a place to call home.
About Mary Leigh
After deciding to pursue her love of art and design, Mary Leigh and her many stacks of home design magazines made the move from Richmond, Virginia to Raleigh, North Carolina where she received a degree in interior design from Meredith College. She joined the F&F team for the launch of the store in early 2013 and has enjoyed being able to utilize her design skills ever since.
A desire to re-use old things in new ways and a need to express artistic tendencies led Jenna to join the Form & Function team. Originally from Raleigh, Jenna graduated from Appalachian with a degree in art. Her eye for color and detail will help customers find the perfect piece for their homes. Jenna will be integral in developing e-commerce, allowing customers to shop F&F’s unique collection online.
With a touch of luck and a bit of chance, Kirsten moved from Connecticut to Raleigh to attend North Carolina State University. Now that she has graduated with a design degree and business minor, she is happy to be at Form & Function where she will be further developing social media. She enjoys being able to reach out to the Raleigh community and to help as Form & Function continues to grow.
